About theHealthAssessment Framework
|
1. The Assessment Framework provides an explanation of the five components. Understanding the concepts and connections between the five components is essential for comprehensive assessment of watershed health.
2. The Watershed Map Tools display, summarize and compare GIS natural resource data by major watershed boundary. Prepared mapbooks and the interactive map both display data and summarize information about each component within a selected watershed.
3. The Watershed Health Assessments display watershed health scores and rankings. For each of the five components, a number of index scores were calculated. Viewing results across the state and on the watershed level reveals trends in the condition of our natural systems. Details about each index and component provides context for understanding watershed health trends. A summary of health scores by major watershed (
