Large-flowered trillium (Trillium grandiflorum)

Spring-blooming native perennial, to 1', often seen in large clusters on roadsides. White flowers to 3" wide, turning pink with age. Plants have 3 broad leaves whorled below the flower, which blooms in May. The nodding trillium is also common in and has a white flower that hangs below the leaves.
