Directions: From Saum, go 2 miles E on CR 23 then 1 mile E on Co Rd 38 then 1 1/4 miles on Twp Rd

Restrictions: There are private lands on three sides of this unit.

Description: This is an open land WMA surrounded by private agricultural lands. Private lands in this township are inter-mixed with DNR Red Lake State Forest ConCon lands. This WMA is primarily upland and lowland shrubs and aspen.

Deer, bear and Sharp-tailed grouse viewing and hunting opportunities exist on this unit.

This WMA is part of a larger 300 acre (four units) brushland habitat project on DNR Forestry ConCon lands. A sharp-tailed grouse dancing ground is located 3/4 mile south of this unit on private land.

At this scale, these WMA boundaries are general, and do not accurately represent the actual legal boundaries. WMA users still need to verify public lands boundaries by observing boundary signs and contacting local DNR Wildlife offices.
