Specialized Muskellunge Sampling 2008
To evaluate populations and stocking success, we netted or electrofished lakes managed for muskellunge (muskie) in early spring.

Largemouth Bass Electrofishing 2008
Largemouth bass are best sampled in spring and early summer using electrofishing-- running electricity through the water with a specialized boat, typically at night. Fish are temporarily stunned and brought into the boat for counting and measuring, then returned live to the water.
