Computers used for the Firewise School Project need to have the following minimum requirements:
- PC based computer (will not run on apple/mac)
- Windows 98 or newer operating system
- Pentium 90 or better
- 64 mb RAM
- 100 mb hard drive space (without loading data) - standard installation requires 500 mb space.
- CD Rom drive
To run more efficiently (faster) the computer should be:
- Windows 98 or newer
- Pentium II or better
- 128 mb RAM or better
- 1 gb hard drive space
- CD ROM Drive
Note - EPIC does not run well as a network installation, it should be loaded on individual PCs using individual data sets (data not served from the network).
