Course: L-380: Fireline Leadership

Course Description: The L-380 Fireline Leadership course is designed to help first line leaders develop the most critical leadership skills needed for building resilient and cohesive wildland fire crews. Leadership and organizational philosophies and techniques introduced in this program have been proven highly effective in building and maintaining effective teams that work in stressful and high-risk operations.

Target Audience: This course is recommended for Strike Team/Task Force Leaders, Burn Boss Type 2, Supervisor Dispatchers, and all Unit Leaders (e.g. GSUL, RESL, COST etc)

Course Prerequisites: Completion of L-180 Human Factors on the Fireline Completion of pre-course work and reading assignment

Course Pre-work: Students must complete a reading assignment prior to class.
