FireFrost ATV Grant-in-Aid Trail, Norman and Polk Counties

The DNR invites public review and written comment on a proposal by FireFrost ATV Club and the Norman County to obtain state grant-in-aid (GIA) funding for a 24.9-mile All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) trail connecting the towns of Perley and Nielsville. The trail will follow an abandoned railroad grade and will be open to off-highway motorcycles, snowmobiles and nonmotorized trail users in addition to ATVs. The trail will be maintained by the FireFrost ATV Club.

Public review

The DNR welcomes public perspectives and comments on the proposal. The deadline for comments is 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
