Red Top Trail

Located between Isle and McGrath, the Red Top Trail has 25 miles of varying terrain for all levels. Beginners will enjoy the sandy, wide trails on the main track while experienced riders can try the tight, technical loops. The popular Adventure Trail loop is a rocky, steep, rugged ride. Riders of all skill levels will enjoy the rocky terrain and sweeping corners of the trail while feeling miles away from civilization.

This trail is part of the 200-mile Northwoods ATV Trail and is provided and maintained by Aitkin County and local ATV Clubs

Parking:
Trail access is 4.6 miles northeast on Soo Line North. Access also at the Snake River Campground.
From Isle, go east on Co. Rd. 131 for 1 mile. Continue onto Co. Rd. 81 for 2 miles. Travel north on Co. Rd. 60 for 1.5 miles then east on 115th Ln. for 0.7 miles.
From McGrath, go south on Hwy. 27/Hwy. 65 for 4.6 miles. Turn west onto 110th Ln. for 2.9 miles to parking area.
