Round River Drive Trail
Located on a combination of state forest roads and trails in northern Minnesota, the Round River Drive Trail showcases the diverse terrain of the Paul Bunyan State Forest. Miles of trails twist and turn while climbing in elevation and narrowing past moraines and potholes. Trail is provided by the City of Akeley and Hubbard County and maintained by the Akeley Paul Bunyan ATV Trailriders and by the Timberland Dirt Devils clubs.
From Akeley, take Hwy. 64 north 5.6 miles. Then turn left on Blue Trail/Steamboat Trail.
- Hubbard County
Closing ATV trail from Spur 1 near the Refuge road (625-215)intersection east to Spur 2 (640-220). A timber sale is opening on Forest Road 0015B which will impact the ATV and OHM trails from the Martineau parking lot to Spur 2 forest road. The closure will be on Monday through Friday but will be open for use on the weekends. We expect this will last from mid-September to mid-October.
