Round River Drive Trail
Located on a combination of state forest roads and trails in northern Minnesota, the Round River Drive Trail showcases the diverse terrain of the Paul Bunyan State Forest. Miles of trails twist and turn while climbing in elevation and narrowing past moraines and potholes. Trail is provided by the City of Akeley and Hubbard County and maintained by the Akeley Paul Bunyan ATV Trailriders and by the Timberland Dirt Devils clubs.
From Akeley, take Hwy. 64 north 5.6 miles. Then turn left on Blue Trail/Steamboat Trail.
- Hubbard County
Minimum maintenance forest road 1066A, a spur off the Tee Pee Lakes forest road will have heavy truck hauling from mid May through June. This is part of the ATV route but there is no other reroute available so slow down on this trail please.
