UPM Blandin Trail

Located off the Rabey Line, the 21-mile UPM Blandin Trail travels through a wooded landscape of upland spruce and northern hardwood, with several small stream crossings. A short spur trail leads to an overlook and picnic area. This trail is ideal for riders of all experience levels and offers a scenic ride during the fall months. The trail is provided by Itasca County and maintained by Rapids Riders ATV Club.

From Grand Rapids, go 7.5 miles south on Hwy. 169, then east on Smith Dr. From Hill City, go 7.5 miles north on Hwy. 169, then east on Smith Dr.

OPEN ALERT: Construction on the Rabey Line Trail May through September. Follow the detour to connect the UPM Blandin Trail to Hill City. From Hill City, follow the posted route across Hwy 200. Turn left on 670th St. Turn left on 340th Ave. Turn right on 680th Ln. Proceed to 324th Ave and turn left onto Blandin forestry road. Turn right at the “T” which will take you to the UPM Blandin Trail.
