Program Information: Site Features- Sitting areas

Sometimes all you want to do is sit outside on a beautiful day to teach a lesson. A comfortable sitting area in a natural setting can be as simple as an arrangement of logs or stumps in an open area or as intricate as an amphitheater with rock seats, steps, and a handrail. Consider your land's natural features—a gradual slop makes a nice natural amphitheater, an open space within a stand of conifers makes a cozy setting, being too near a busy road or noisy waterfall can be distracting.

Wooden platform, benches, and teaching podium located in the Baudette School Forest, Baudette.
