Abstract | The purpose of this file is to show the approximate boundaries of glacial Lake Lind as mapped by Johnson and others (1999 - see lineage for complete citation). Glacial lake Lind clayey sediments are an important protective layer for the underlying bedrock aquifer. Buried sand and gravel deposits that increase the sensitivity of the bedrock aquifer elsewhere were not considered to be a factor near or beneath this area. |

Currentness Reference | Johnson’s research was published in 1999. We have no additional data regarding the extent of clayey glacial Lake Lind sediments since that time. |
