Photo Essay

Nature's Lines

A photographic exploration of the natural order.

Various Photographers

A strand of spider silk, a streak of aurora borealis, a row of water birds—the natural world is full of lines, some straight, some arcing, all unique and ultimately ephemeral. This Minnesota Conservation Volunteer photo essay collects images in which skilled outdoor photographers found their eye, and their lens, drawn to Minnesota scenes where nature’s lines materialize.
