Discover new opportunities for adventure
Are you ready to explore? Minnesota state parks and trails are waiting! Go camping, take a nature hike, pack a picnic...your adventure awaits, so grab a map and get outside!
I Can! programs are now open
Pick up a new skill this summer, with one of the I Can! family-friendly programs designed for beginners. Learn to camp, paddle, fish, mountain bike, or shoot an arrow - all equipment provided.
Don't get lost in the woods
Download geoPDF maps at home. They'll display your current location like Google Maps, but you don't have to be connected to the Internet or have cell service while using the map.
Free park day
On four days each year, all Minnesota state parks and state recreation areas offer free admission to everyone - no vehicle permits needed! The next free park day is Saturday, April 27.
Junior Ranger program
Explore Minnesota state parks and recreation areas and complete activities in your Junior Ranger book to earn points and a patch! (Designed for ages six through ten, but anyone may participate.)
Yodel
We no longer accept self-payment envelopes. Use Yodel to purchase firewood or one-day vehicle permits in state parks and recreation areas, and to pay state forest camping fees. (Park reservations are still made and paid for through the reservations system, not through Yodel.)
