2026 Minnesota Bear Surplus License Sale

The bear surplus license sale that occurred on Aug. 5 was disrupted due system errors during the checkout process. At this time all surplus bear licenses have been allocated, using time-stamped data collected during the sale from the system. We are currently in the process of contacting all affected hunters. The Minnesota DNR is committed to maintaining the integrity of the process and making sure we provide bear hunting opportunities consistent with our management objectives.
