Use this tool to locate hunter walking trails. Simply select a county from the list and click on the trail name. The map will automatically zoom and the trail will appear marked in red. Clicking the "PDF" link opens a new browser window that displays a printable, aerial view of the selected trail.
All map data representing public land boundaries (ex WMA, State Forest, etc) are general
and at this scale DO NOT accurately represent the actual legal boundaries and thus should
be used for reference only not navigation to or on public lands. Please respect private
property and verify public lands by observing boundary signs and contacting local DNR
offices. State Forest lands, represented in green on the HWT Tool map above, include
a patchwork of public and private lands. For a detailed map of public lands within a State
