Please exercise an abundance of caution if riding the ungroomed trails after this late snowfall. Hazards may exist hidden beneath the snow such as wet areas that have not refrozen, bumps, rocks and uneven trail surfaces that are normally covered by a "base of snow".

The trail consists of rolling hills with numerous lakes and streams. Many of the hills have large areas of exposed rock and enormous boulders. The trail is heavily timbered with a mix of hardwoods and conifers.

Heading into Grand Rapids on Highway 169, turn onto 3rd Ave. E. Follow for ten blocks to the trailhead.
