Description: Boulder Campground and Day-Use Area is adjacent to Rock Lake Public Landing. The campsites are considered primitive, designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. The day-use area features six picnic sites.

All sites are on a first-come, first-served basis for a fee.

Highlights: Boulder Campground and Day-Use Area offers a great alternative to the more developed and heavily used St. Croix State Park.

Outdoors recreation is bountiful. Fun stuff you can do here includes hiking the nature trails, fishing, and swimming. You won't run out of fun.

Visitor Alert:

  • The main campground loops are open; however, the south loop will remain closed due to logging. Be aware that logging activity will be taking place in and near the campground. Please avoid active logging operations and be on the lookout for log trucks on the roads and trails. Visibility is limited; just because you can see the equipment, it doesn't mean the operator can see you. The hiking trails have been cleared enough for hikers to use the system.
