Description: Trout Valley Management Unit is located in northern Winona and southern Wabasha counties. The area includes Trout Creek, a spring-fed trout stream. Steep, wooded ridges and bluffs flank the stream. The Trout Valley trail system is classified as a nonmotorized and motorized multi-use system and serves hikers, horseback riders, and OHV and motorcycle riders. Use caution and share the trail.

Trout Valley OHV State Trail provides scenic of overlooks of the Trout, Whitewater, and Mississippi River valleys. The R.J. Dorer State Forest OHV Trails: Trout Valley is open for OHV use May 1 through November 1.
