• This state forest lies on the east side of Leech Lake in Cass County and the west side of Boy River Bay. The public water access has two ramps, a toilet, and enough parking for 28 auto/trailers.
• Leech Lake, known as a world-class fishing lake, is filled with walleye, muskie, largemouth bass, black crappie, and bluegills.
• A portion of this state forest is within the Leech Lake Indian Reservation.

Spring temporarily trail and road closers are now in affect due to wet conditions. Signs will be posted at entry points and parking lots. The closures include all unmarked roads and trails, unless specifically listed. |
