•Winter visitors can enjoy 21 miles of marked snowmobile trails. The Buena Vista Trail connects to the Beltrami County North Country and Northland grant-in-aid snowmobile trails. These trails provide groomed routes to the cities of Nebish, Blackduck, Turtle River, and Bemidji, as well as connections to the Hubbard and Cass County grant-in-aid trail system.
•Summer visitors will find public water access on several lakes, including Beltrami, Big Bass, Gull, Sandy, and Three Island lakes.

• Portions of this state forest is classified for the purposes of motor vehicle and OHVs usage as limited and closed. Refer to state forest map for details •Most roads and trails are open to mountain bikes unless posted. Spring temporarily trail and road closers are now in affect due to wet conditions. Signs will be posted at entry points and parking lots. The closures include all unmarked roads and trails, unless specifically listed. |
