• This state forest was named after the Daughters of the American Revolution. (D.A.R.)

• D.A.R. State Forest located east of Banning State Park on Highway 23.

• This state forest has no designated trail system within its boundaries. Visitors are welcome to explore its beauty for the day and stay at Banning State Park or at Nemadji or General Andrews state forests for the night. Please remember to tread lightly.

Forest is open to non-motorized use. There are no Off-Highway Vehicle riding opportunities.

Spring temporarily trail and road closers are now in affect due to wet conditions. Signs will be posted at entry points and parking lots. The closures include all unmarked roads and trails, unless specifically listed.
