•Finland State Forest is located in south-central Lake County and southwestern Cook County. Various portions of the forest can be reached from U.S. 61, State Highway 1, and Lake County 2. Refer to the Minnesota state highway map for directions.
•There are 50 miles of maintained state forest roads which provide access for foresters, loggers, anglers, hunters, and other forest visitors.
•Finland State Forest has abundant warm-water lakes as well as trout streams and lakes.
•Only 6 miles from Tettegouche State Park, Finland State Forest serves as a handy overflow campground or alternative to the more developed and more popular Tettegouche State Park campground.

Spring temporarily trail and road closers are now in affect due to wet conditions. Signs will be posted at entry points and parking lots. The closures include all unmarked roads and trails, unless specifically listed. |
