Baudette Area Trout Streams

At the present time, there is one stream in the Baudette Fisheries Area that is managed for trout.  Anglers need a trout stamp validation and a Minnesota fishing license to fish for trout in designated trout streams, such as the Pitt Grade. Trout stamps are not needed for children less than 16 years old or resident adults who are 65 and older.

A map showing the general location of the Pitt Grade can be found using the following link.  Historically, Bemis Hill Stream and Tomato Creek were also managed for trout.  But, presently, only the Pitt Grade is stocked with trout.

The Pitt Grade Trout Stream is located south of Pitt.  This stream is stocked with catchable sized Rainbow Trout each May.  The stream is adjacent to the Pitt Grade Forest Road.
