Baudette Area Trout Streams
There are two streams in the Baudette Fisheries Area that are managed for trout. Anglers need a trout stamp validation and a Minnesota fishing license to fish for trout in designated trout streams, such as the Pitt Grade and the Bemis Hill Stream. Trout stamps are not needed for children less than 16 years old or resident adults who are 65 and older.
A map showing the general locations of these Baudette-area trout streams can be found at this link:
The Pitt Grade Trout Stream is located south of Pitt. This stream is stocked with catchable sized Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout each May. The stream is adjacent to the Pitt Grade Forest Road.
The Bemis Hill Trout Stream is located just north of the Bemis Hill Recreation Area, southwest of Warroad. This stream is stocked with catchable sized Brook Trout each May.
