The purpose of the Division of Enforcement weekly report is to promote the activities performed by Division of Enforcement personnel in protecting Minnesota's natural resources through effective law enforcement and education. Information is gathered from the Division's 18 districts as well as various subsections and compiled and edited by the Division public information officer.

Featured Update
CO Tony Elwell (Cloquet) investigated various ATV complaints and nuisance-animal calls. Most time this week was spent in support of the BWCAW fires. Fire-mapping missions were flown while operating the new camera and mapping system as a tactical flight officer onboard the division’s newest aircraft. Data collected is sent to a GIS/aerial photography specialist within the Forestry Division to generate visual updates that are used to assess and plan for battling these wildfires.
