Comments: The Lebanon Hills Visitor Center is located between McDonough and Schultz Lake.  Ample parking is available at this location and it is a short walk to the fishing pier at McDonough. Dakota County Parks is planning improvements include a new fishing pier that will be ready for anglers at ice-out as well as winter aeration to keep fish alive thorugh the winter. This will allow a more stable fish population and will make it possible to stock predator species such as Largemouth Bass or Northern Pike into this lake.

The first fish survey of McDonough Lake by the FiN Program will take place in 2014. The preliminary results will be posted here following the survey.
