Eagle Point Lake


Eagle Point Lake is located within Lake Elmo Regional Park Reserve.


Species Present:

Bullhead species: more abundant than average, smaller than average.


Boat Access:

There is no boat access to this lake. The county has developed a small, carry in canoe access at the east bay of the lake a short walk from the first parking lot within the park.


Shore Fishing:

Anglers may fish the entire shoreline. It should be noted that the entire shoreline is undeveloped. Fishing in this lake will require considerable effort.


Lake Management Plans:

  1. No fish management is planned for this lake. It is best suited as a waterfowl resting and production area.



This lake winterkills regularly. Fish emigrate into this lake from the tri-lake system (Demontreville, Olson and Lake Jane) immediately upstream.
