Twin Lake (East)
East Twin is located 5 miles northeast of Elk River or 1 mile west of the village of Nowthen.
Walleye: low abundance, small average size.
Northern Pike: above average abundance, small average size.
Largemouth Bass: average abundance, average size.
Bluegill: above average abundance, average size.
Crappie: below average abundance, average size.
The access is located within Twin Lake County Park operated by the City of Oak Grove. Travel west of Nowthen on Viking Blvd. N.W. just past the intersection of Baugh St. N.W.
Bank angling is limited to a fishing pier and shoreline within the park. Fishing may be limited by overhanging brush and aquatic vegetation.

- Stock 217,500 walleye fry (2500 per littoral acre) in odd numbered years.
- Creel survey is proposed but no funding is available.
East Twin is a lake with good water quality, diverse habitat, and an average fish population. Walleye stocking was started in 2001 and has not been evaluated as yet. Walleye stocked in the metro area usually take 3 summers to grow large enough to be of interest to anglers.
