A sluggish area of low pressure centered over South Dakota brought waves of rain spiraling across Minnesota for the final few days of May. The epicenter of the heaviest rain on May 29 and May 30 was in the Fargo/Moorhead area. Parts of central Clay County saw three to five inches with a few isolated areas seeing up to six inches of rain in a 24 hour period ending at 8am May 30. Street flooding was reported in the Fargo/Moorhead Area. An unofficial report of up to 7 inches was reported 2 miles south of Kragnes in Clay County.
