Rare Animal Surveys: Frog and Toad Call Surveys

Frog and toad call surveys are conducted after dusk to document breeding frogs and toads within selected wetland habitats. All species are identified by their call and their corresponding call intensities are recorded. This technique is used from April through July to obtain information during all calling periods.

Previous survey method: Turtle Trapping                     Next survey method: Drift Fences
