The trail(s):
The trails consist of hilly, wooded terrain, with numerous wetlands and lakes. The park harbors a wide variety of wildlife and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape from the scenic overlooks through Sibley.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

Facilities:

  • The Trail Center serves as a warming house.
  • Daily ski passes are sold at the park office when open.
  • Snowshoes may be rented at the park office when open. Rental skis are available from the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center, 320-354-5894.

Sibley is located on Highway 71, fifteen miles north of Willmar. Signs will direct you to the park and signs within the park will direct you to the Trail Center, where the trailhead begins.

Parking is available at the trailhead.
