There is nothing like being out on one of Minnesota's lakes or rivers with a paddle in your hand. Don't have your own equipment? No problem! We have several low-cost ways for you to get out on the water. Take your family out in a canoe, rent stand-up paddleboards with your friends, or enjoy some solitary time in a kayak.
When you rent a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard at a state park, we'll fit everyone in your group with a life jacket. (Included with your rental.) Be sure to wear them correctly!
Here are some paddling safety tips.
