Seasonal or temporary road and trail closures may be imposed at any time due to trail repairs, wet soil conditions, logging operations or other natural resource protection or public safety concerns. Most often, closures happen during spring thaw or following a heavy summer rainfall. Closures are unpredictable, so always check this list before you ride.
In a CLOSED forest, ALL roads and trails are closed, except for those routes specifically listed as open below. This includes all unmarked roads and trails. Be sure to check the comments for specific guidelines for those exceptions.
Cross-country OHV travel on State Forest Lands is generally prohibited, except pursuant to MS Chapt. 84.926 (season hunting trapping exceptions)
