Directions: From the jct of CR 3 & 4 just N. of Merrifield, E. on Co. Rd. 3 2.0 miles, E. on Co. Rd. 19 3.9 miles , WMA parking lot is on west side of Co. Rd. 19.

Description: Mission Lake WMA was established in 1976 to protect and manage wetland habitats that used to be managed as a fish rearing pond. WMA is primarily a 50-50 mix of sedge/cattails and upland forest.

All access to this small WMA is foot/non-motorized only. A gate and parking lot exist on Co. Rd. 19 that lead to trail access to this unit.

At this scale, these WMA boundaries are general, and do not accurately represent the actual legal boundaries. WMA users still need to verify public lands boundaries by observing boundary signs and contacting local DNR Wildlife offices.
