Area: 5,772 ac

Description: Meadowbrook was created in 1979 for the purposes of forest wildlife management. The unit is primarily forested (aspen, oak and northern hardwoods) with numerous forested wetlands throughout. Area actively managed through timber sales.

This is large non-motorized WMA that provides 12 miles of hunter walking trails with 7 parking lots (2 are accessible to people with disabilities). WMA provides excellent hunting for ruffed grouse, woodcock and deer.

Two accessible parking lots (gravel surface) exist in the SW corner of the WMA that are used by deer hunters to shoot over adjacent fields.

At this scale, these WMA boundaries are general, and do not accurately represent the actual legal boundaries. WMA users still need to verify public lands boundaries by observing boundary signs and contacting local DNR Wildlife offices.
