Directions: From the jct of Co. Rd. 6 & 16 on the N. side of Crosslake, E. on Co. Rd. 16 3.9 miles, parking lot and access trail to WMA is on south side of Co. Rd. 16.

Restrictions: This WMA is closed to all hunting until the opening day of waterfowl hunting.

Description: This 110-acre tract of rolling woodlands, small lakes and marshes was donated to the MNDNR by Bob and Barb Uppgaard in 1987 through the RIM critical habitat match program.

This WMA is Minnesota's first "Landscaping for Wildlife Demonstration Area".

At this scale, these WMA boundaries are general, and do not accurately represent the actual legal boundaries. WMA users still need to verify public lands boundaries by observing boundary signs and contacting local DNR Wildlife offices.
