Directions: From McGrath go 10 miles N. on Hwy. 65. 1 mile W. on 310th Lane. Unit is on S. side of road

Restrictions: Please do not park along the narrow township road to the north of the unit, since there is frequent farm equipment traffic along it.

Description: This WMA is old farm fields mixed with upland forest types of aspen, birch and oak. The Rice River runs through this unit. Lower areas on the unit are grassland or brush mixed with pockets of tamarack.

Deer, bear, woodcock, ruffed grouse, otter, wolves, mink, Canada geese, hooded mergansers, tree swallows, and hairy woodpeckers may use this WMA.

This WMA 's purpose is to provide habitat for deer, bear, ruffed grouse, and woodcock. There are additional state forest and county administered lands to the west of the unit.

At this scale, these WMA boundaries are general, and do not accurately represent the actual legal boundaries. WMA users still need to verify public lands boundaries by observing boundary signs and contacting local DNR Wildlife offices.
