Environmental Review - Statewide Program and Contacts
The statewide program is staffed by professional planners with environmental review expertise in a variety of natural resource areas. Examples of the expertise areas include fish and wildlife habitat projects, recreational trails, energy plants, hydropower facilities, mining, forestry, and work in public waters.
Statewide program staff prepare EAWs and EISs for projects where the MDNR is the RGU. The review of hydropower, large energy conversion facility, transmission line, pipeline, and multi-region/statewide projects are also coordinated by statewide program staff.
