Comments: The FiN Program conducted a fish survey in July and found northern pike to be abundant with some large individuals. The panfish numbers seemed to be low, but many were visually spotted in the shallows. (08/02/04)

Much of the shoreline is marshy and vegetated leaving the fishing pier as the best place to fish from. Aquatic vegetation can become quite thick in the summer so early summer can be the best time to fish. Ice fishing in the winter can be very good at times, if you try this be aware of the aeration system that can create areas of thin ice.
