Comments: Abundant panfish and northern pike make Beaver Lake a great place to fish.  If the fishing pier is crowded, try fishing from the shore structures north of the pier.  Beaver Lake is stocked regular with channel catfish. A shoreline restoration was conducted in 2004 to stabilize the eroding shoreline. Shore fishing stations were incorporated into the restoration to provide angler access.  A survey was conducted in July 2010.

MARCH 2013 UPDATE: A problem with the aeration system has caused a partial fish kill at Beaver Lake. Dead fish include largemouth bass, channel catfish, black crappie and sunfish. Fisheries staff will be monitoring the situation and will restock the lake as neccesary in the spring.
