Comments: A cooperative effort between the Rotary Club of Woodbury, the City of Woodbury and the MN DNR brought a fishing pier to Powers Lake in May 2004.  This lake is one of the best fishing lakes in Woodbury and has many species of gamefish.  Try fishing for good-sized bass and northern pike after a vegetation line develops in the summer.  Walleyes are also present thanks to the Woodbury Rotary Club.  Northern pike in the 2007 survey averaged nearly 30 inches.
