General Permit 2001-1172: Repair of Flood Damages in Public Waters

To whom it may concern,

General Permit 2001-1172 (and associated project verification form) was reissued by DNR Waters and can be found below. This permit allows political subdivisions, agencies, and private landowners to restore structures, property, and stream channels below the ordinary high water level of public waters damaged by flood events. Please note the following:

• Specific project notification to, and authorization by the DNR Ecological and Water Resources Area Hydrologist prior to commencing work is required as part of this permit to work in public waters.
• The permit expiration date is June 1, 2016.
