Aquatic Invasive Species Outreach Materials

Outreach materials are provided to help organizations and individuals promote aquatic invasive species (AIS) prevention activities in their communities. The DNR’s Invasive Species Program provides printed materials and design files, as well as providing review of AIS materials created by other organizations.


Print Materials

You may order select publications directly from the DNR by filling out the AIS Publication Request Form. You may also print these materials on your own.

Outlines current Minnesota AIS laws and recommendations. Includes photographs and information to help identify AIS.

Dear Boater Card

This windshield card informs boaters of AIS laws and provides additional recommendations to stop aquatic hitchhikers. Cards can be distributed at water accesses.

WATCH Cards

Water-resistant and durable wallet-sized identification cards with color photos, keys to identification, spread prevention tips, and how to report a suspect AIS. Seventeen species cards, like the Starry Stonewort WATCH card, are available.
