Provided here is the sand and gravel resource potential digital map plate and GIS data for Aitkin County, Minnesota. A crushed stone resource potential map plate and associated data will be published at a later date. Also expected at a later date is a new interactive GIS map server for the Aggregate Mapping Program which will include the aggregate data for Aitkin County.

A compressed set of files, aitkindata.zip (17 MB, .zip). The zip file contains spatial GIS datasets (ArcGIS File Geodatabase and ESRI shapefiles) and related tabular files of geological and aggregate features created by the DNR, Mn/DOT, and MGS. Also included are metadata files in PDF format for each data file.
