Expedited Conservation Project Grant Cycle (ECP)

New this year, $2.0 million will be available for conservation projects up to $50,000 that restore or enhance MN’s native habitats. This expedited process includes a list of eligible activities which applicants must choose from and a simplified application process.  This cycle will be open continuously from August 15, 2012 to May 15, 2013, with awards being made every other month until all available funds are awarded. FY2013 Rounds 1-4 ECP Funded Projects This is a PDF file. At least $500,000 will be available for each of the 4 habitat types (forest, wetland, prairie, FGW habitat).  Acquisitions of any kind are not eligible for this funding cycle due to complexity.  All work must be completed on public lands open to all seasons of hunting and fishing.

All projects have a 10% non-state match requirement that must be identified at the time of application submission. Please read the ECP RFP below for full project details.
