Over/ Under $25,000 Grant Cycle (O25K/U25K)

$3.5 million has been awarded for FY13 to conservation projects that restore, enhance, or protect Minnesota’s native habitats. This grant cycle provides funding from $5,000- $400,000 for projects in forests, wetlands, prairies or other habitats in MN, including acquisition.

Applications are accepted online only, 2 times per fiscal year if funding remains available for a second round. Round 1 of FY13 opened August 15, 2012, and closed September 26, 2012. At this time, a second round is not anticipated for FY13.

Applicants will have a choice between the $25,000 and under (U25K) application or the Over $25,000 (O25K) application. The U25K has a simplified application, but limits the amount that can be requested.

All projects have a 10% non-state match requirement that must be identified at the time of application submission. Please read the O25K/ U25K RFP below for full project details.
