Proposed project
Northern Natural Gas has proposed to conduct seven phased maintenance and equipment improvement projects at its Farmington Compressor Station in Dakota County, Minnesota. The project would include building removal, equipment maintenance and replacement, as well as other improvements on the already existing compressor station. No permanent land use changes are planned as part of this project.
Environmental Assessment Worksheet
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is the Responsible Governmental Unit (RGU) for the environmental review of the Northern Natural Gas Farmington Compressor Station Improvements Project. DNR has issued an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for public review and comment.

Public notice of the availability of this EAW for public comment is in the April 11, 2023 edition of the EQB Monitor. A 30-day public review and comment period is open from April 11, 2023 until 4:30 p.m. May 11, 2023. A hard copy of the EAW is available for public review at:

Written and signed comments on the EAW must be received by 4:30 p.m. May 11, 2023.
