Boat and water safety

Social distancing when boating. Stay close to home, plan ahead fuel up pack food and water, boat only with those in your household, distance at the dock, no rafting or tying to boats. Be prepared and boat safe, always wear a lifejacket.

Boat safe and sober

Alcohol is involved in about 30 percent of fatal boat accidents in Minnesota. Drunk boating is drunk driving — designate a sober ride on the water and on the road.
