Horizontal 3/8" spike, 0.5' abv grd, in SE root of a 1.8' oak, 20' west of crude access trail, 25' north of top of lake bank, at primitive canoe access via trail (marked by Three Rivers park boundary sign), off Hwy 7 right before (West of) the sign for Lake Minnetonka Regional Park with arrow, and west of sign for Junction Co Rd 44. Same tree as vertical BM spike. [NOTE: Previous elevation surveyed on horizontal spike was 950.75. Original starting benchmark MN DOT "2704 N" used for DNR RM was found to be suspect per 8/21/12 GPS survey with control benchmark MNDT "2704 F".] | |
