Your Ski Pass fee helps support Minnesota's cross-country ski trail system!

If you are 16 or older, you must have a Great Minnesota Ski Pass to ski on groomed trails in Minnesota state parks or state forests, or on state or grant-in-aid trails. Sign your Ski Pass and be sure to carry it with you every time you go skiing.

You will need your date of birth, driver's license, and credit card (Discover, MasterCard, Visa) to buy a Ski Pass online or over the phone. There is an additional convenience fee for online or telephone sales.

  • At the front desk in most Minnesota state parks. * (Daily pass only - state parks do not sell the one- or three-year passes).

* Nobody in the park office? Buy your daily, one-year or three-year Ski Pass at the park's self-registration kiosk! Follow the instructions on the form and carry the Customer Copy portion as your receipt, so you can start skiing right away. Carry this whenever you ski until your Ski Pass arrives in the mail - it will take about two weeks.

Ski Pass rates

  • Daily: $10
  • One-year: $25
    (Effective from July 1 to June 30, corresponding to the winter season.)
  • Three-year: $70
    (Effective from July 1 to June 30 for three winter seasons, including the purchasing season.)
  • Duplicate passes: $2.50
